HumasUPNVJ - The Chancellor of UPN "Veteran" Jakarta fulfilled the invitation of the Central Board of the Indonesian Veterans Legion (LVRI) to attend the 66th Anniversary Celebration of the Indonesian Veterans Legion on Thursday (5/1). The celebration was carried out in a simple manner at the Hall of the Piere Tendean Building, Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Indonesia. The theme for this year's celebration is to invite all components of the nation to remain united to avoid efforts to divide the nation in order to face the political year.

LVRI is known to be an organization that brings together veterans of the Republic of Indonesia. According to Law no. 15 of 2012, the state needs to give appreciation to those who have contributed their energy actively on a voluntary basis in the bond of armed unity, both official and casual in fighting for, defending and defending the independence of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia and those who are actively involved in assignments under the flag of the United Nations. Nation.

Last year LVRI gave appreciation for the awarding of the LVRI Star to three Chancellors of UPN Veterans throughout Indonesia, one of which was the Chancellor of UPNVJ for the 2018-2022 period. This indicates that UPNVJ is also taking part in continuing the struggle of the veteran warriors of the nation in fulfilling independence which is expected to produce a superior generation that is great, disciplined, has the spirit of defending the country, and becomes a filler fighter for independence.

At this 66th anniversary celebration, the new Chancellor for the 2022-2026 period, Dr. Anter Venus, MA, Comm is proud to be present and happy and appreciates the achievements of veterans who are members of LVRI. Venus, who was met directly by the UPNVJ Public Relations team, expressed her gratitude for LVRI while at the same time hoping that with the experience and potential that LVRI has, it will continue its determination to pass on the spirit of struggle to the next generation of the nation so that they have a strong national vision so that they can continue the struggle towards a glorious Indonesia.

It is known that the celebration of the 66th Anniversary of LVRI was carried out in several series. A pilgrimage was also carried out to the Pahlaman Cemetery before finally holding a thanksgiving to pray for the warriors who had fallen earlier. In addition, on the sidelines of the thanksgiving event, the LVRI star was awarded to the Minister of Defense, Lieutenant General TNI (Purn) Prabowo Subianto for his dedication to the development and progress of LVRI.
