Love and Passion for Work at the XI UFO “Veteran” Exhibition in Jakarta

HumasUPNVJ - The UFO “Veteran” Jakarta student activity unit opened the Class XI Exhibition at the UPNVJ Pondok Labu Campus on Monday, September 2, 2024. This exhibition, which will take place from September 2-7, 2024, will be a forum for prospective UFO “Veteran” Jakarta members to be creative and develop their creative spirit.

Themed “Love Language” with the big title “Affection,” the exhibition of Class XI UFO “Veteran” Jakarta is the final result of educational activities that have been carried out for approximately ten months. The participants brought out their best abilities in their work and showed it to visitors.

Project Officer of the 11th UFO “Veteran” Jakarta Exhibition, Naila Alifia, hopes that this event can increase the awareness of every individual that affection can be shown through the works displayed.

"I hope the theme of the 11th Generation Exhibition can be conveyed to visitors, and everyone can feel the love through the works displayed," said Naila in her speech.

In addition to graphic design and photography exhibition activities, there are also work discussion activities and short film screenings. The exhibition activities invite the Founding Board, Advisory Board, all members of UFO "Veteran" Jakarta, KSM / UKM / ORMAWA UPNVJ, art communities throughout Jabodetabek and the entire academic community of UPNVJ.

This exhibition is expected to inspire and make visitors aware that every human being has a different understanding of love and affection. In addition, this exhibition is also expected to spark visitors' curiosity in finding their own meaning and Love Language through the works and installations that are available.

The exhibition activities began with welcoming remarks and a theatrical performance entitled “Memory Corner” presented by UKM THLS (Teater Hijau Lima Satu) as a form of collaboration between UPNVJ arts UKMs.

Next, there was a ribbon cutting as a symbol of the opening of the XI Exhibition represented by Soerya Dharma as the Founding Board of UFO “Veteran” Jakarta, Fikri Suprobo Putra as the General Chairperson of UFO “Veteran” Jakarta, and Naila Alifia as the Chief Executive of the XI Exhibition. After conducting the first tour session, the exhibition was officially opened to the public.

In the 11th Batch Exhibition, there were 30 works consisting of 15 photography works and 15 graphic design works presented by 19 exhibitors, as well as various installations that could be enjoyed by visitors.

In addition, there is a vote for the most favorite work, the results of which will be announced at the closing event on September 7, 2024 at the BEJ Hall, Hoesni Thamrin building, Faculty of Economics and Business, UPNVJ.

At this exhibition, there is a free photobooth with unique frames, and visitors can upload the photos to their respective social media accounts.
