HumasUPNVJ - Accounting Study Program Faculty of Economics and Business UPN "Veteran" Jakarta in collaboration with LSP TA (Accounting Technician Professional Certification Institute) held an Accounting Technician Competency Test for Accounting Study Program students at the MH Thamrin Building UPNVJ, Friday (5/7/ 19).
This activity has been carried out since 2018, according to the head of the third diploma program accounting program Praptiningsih, SE., MM For this competency test it is intended for Accounting students so that later after graduating they will get an additional certificate.
"We have a mission that students who graduate at UPNVJ, especially the Accounting Study Program, will not only graduate with a bachelor's degree, but can obtain several accounting competency certifications. One of the certifications accommodated by the National Professional Certification Agency (BNSP). he said.
He also added that this activity was very important because the participants would later get expertise recognition for the accounting technician competency test by obtaining a certificate from BNSP.
The results of this competition test are carried out and provided by the accounting technician professional certification body which is a professional certification body that has been recognized in Indonesia and licensed by the BNSP. Later the certificates obtained by female students are in two languages and are recognized by countries in Southeast Asia. Until now, approximately 27,000 certificates have been issued by LSP TA.
According to one of the Assessors of the Accounting Technician Professional Certification Institute, Lardin Korawijayanti, SE, MM, CAAT, during the two days of testing at UPNVJ he was impressed with UPNVJ accounting students. "For two days my assessors and I tested the competition test with the SAK ETAP-based financial report preparation cluster.
The Accounting Technician competency test lasted for two days starting from 4 July 2019 to 5 July 2019. Out of 199 students who took this competency test, 155 female students were declared passed and competent. So that the percentage achievement is 76%.
