Be careful! Attempts of Fraud in the Name of UPNVJ Lecturers

HumasUPNVJ - An attempt was made to purchase credit fraud by an unknown person to several students. The fraud was in the name of one of the UPN Veteran Jakarta FISIP lecturers, Rut Rismanta Silalahi. Until this article was published, on Tuesday (30/06/20) the identity and motives of the perpetrators for carrying out such an act were not yet known.

The perpetrator sent short messages (SMS) to several FISIP students claiming to be Rut Rismanta. In the message, the perpetrator asked which students were selling pulses by writing the full name of the lecturer along with the title.

Rut reported and informed this incident to several fellow lecturers and students to ignore the text messages sent by irresponsible parties.

“There are students who report to me. He said it was strange, why did kak rut text him with his full name and title and asked who was selling phone credits? If someone contacts you like that, please just ignore it," said Rut to appeal to lecturers and students.

We urge all students, lecturers and other staff to remain careful about several fraudulent attempts on behalf of UPNVJ lecturers, please confirm directly to those concerned to avoid harmful attempts.
