HumasUPNVJ - Today Thursday, July 9 2020 is the fifth day of UTBK implementation at UPN Veteran Jakarta (UPNVJ).

Based on the monitoring of the public relations team to this day, the health protocol is still being tightened in accordance with the health procedures in place.

The medical team and security officers as well as other UTBK committees work together to remind each other to follow health protocols while taking care of themselves and UTBK participants.

Based on the data obtained, during this week there was an increase in the number of positive Covid-19 patients with a record high on Wednesday (08/07/20) the number of new cases was at 1,853 and DKI Jakarta was one of the contributors to the increase in the number of Covid-19 cases that occurred.

Seeing the current conditions, one of the medical staff at the UTBK center, dr. Muhammad Fiki Fauzan conveyed several things that had been prepared by UPNVJ starting from the health protocols of the committees on duty to checking UTBK participants.

" In carrying out this health protocol, we start from the committee by screening officers' body temperatures if the temperature is above 37.5 degrees, officers are not allowed to work. For participants we also do a body temperature screening, if the temperature is above 37.5 degrees we recommend taking a rest first at the provided post, we ask participants to drink enough mineral water then we do another screening. if after a break the temperature is still high, participants are not allowed to take the exam and will be relocated in the second wave, "said dr. Fiki.

dr. Fiki also said that dehydration could be a cause of increased body temperature "the cause of high body temperature could be because the participants who entered the second session were already waiting at the entrance and had been exposed to the sun's heat for a long time, this resulted in dehydration so that the temperature increased".

For participants who have not taken the UTBK exam, Dr. Fiki also conveyed a number of things that could be prepared if the next day he wanted to take the exam at UPNVJ

"Participants who want to take the exam the next day can prepare themselves by getting enough rest at night because doing the exam requires good stamina, if the stamina is good then the body temperature will also be normal. Participants before coming to the UPNVJ UTBK center are required to bring a mask, which can also be equipped with comfortable gloves and faceshield. We recommend using a cloth mask because medical masks are only for sick people and medical personnel, " he said

With the increasing number of positive Covid-19 this week, dr. Fiki also provides advice for UTBK participants and the wider community not to feel excessively afraid. Feeling happy is a choice to maintain a healthy mind.

" The advice I want to convey is so that we can remain productive in the current conditions by maintaining our own health protocols, keeping a distance of 1 to 2 meters. For prevention, the most important thing is to maintain immunity in the body, by thinking positively, exercising, taking vitamins, eating nutritiously and getting enough sleep. Feeling happy is a choice right now, because Covid-19 is right before our eyes and positive cases are increasing every day, but we have to think that we will win against Covid-19 by continuing to remind each other, "said dr. Fiki.
