Public Relations Team - UPN Veteran Jakarta as a test centre for Computer-Based Writing Test (UTBK) prepares health protocols for all UTBK participants. Participants who will enter the UPNVJ environment are required to wear masks and keep their distance. (7/5/20)

There are 15,614 participants who chose UPNVJ as the centre of UTBK, with approximately 460 participants for each session (360 participants are in Pondok Labu Campus and 100 participants are in Limo Campus). UPNVJ Public Relations Team had the opportunity to conduct an interview with the UPNVJ UTBK executive coordinator, Fajar Nugroho. In his interview, Fajar explained the steps taken by UPNVJ regarding the conditions and schedules that at some point can be changing from the LTMPT (Institution of University Entrance Exams) centre and he also defined the preparations made by UPNVJ in the UTBK "Regarding the UTBK schedule, at the beginning there were some changes, but this issues had been resolved, both from LTMPT centre and UTBK centre at UPNVJ. Every time if there is an information changes, such as the schedule or provisions, we will inform the public, especially for the participants who chose UPNVJ as their UTBK centre. Said Fajar.

"For the preparation, we have prepared the same procedure as the previous year. But as we know, this year there are several additional preparations related to the health protocol for Covid-19 transmission prevention. For the additional Covid-19 protocol, we have prepared a drop zone parking area for participants that happened to be accompanied by family or companion, which we have provided both at Pondok Labu Campus and at Limo Campus. Next, participants will also take measurements of body temperature before entering the building by health workers, if the measurement shown participant with body temperature above 37.5 degrees Celsius, they will guided with a team of doctor/health worker to fill out an online form, which after that the form-results will be seen by doctor, hence rechecking body temperature is necessary, if body temperature is below 37.5 degrees Celsius, he/she may enters the building. If indeed not, participants will be made a letter of statement for not to be recommended to take the test for phase 1, but we try to give another chances for participants to take UTBK phase 2. After doing the body temperature measurement, participants are ordered to wash their hands and go to the waiting room, which we already arrange the room with at least a minimum distance of 1.5 meters between one and another, and of course it is all assisted by our officers". Explained Fajar.

Fajar also explained about the constraints in UPNVJ, "This year, invigilator have an additional task, it is a duty for invigilator to spraying hand sanitizer to the participants right before they enter the test room and after they finish the test. After participants finished the test, they all encouraged to directly going home. We have also directed some officers to arrange people to not grouping and making a crowd. All preparations that we do is a form of prevention. Speaking of obstacles, UPNVJ has done great effort to minimize the existing constraints, we have carried out all the procedures that have been instructed by the LTMPT central committee, starting from the health protocol to the implementation procedure of the UTBK itself. Indeed, if there is another change, we will follow the direction of the LTMPT central committee. Hopefully everything that has been prepared by UPNVJ will run smoothly from the first day of UTBK phase 1 to the last day of phase 2. We also hope that all people that involved in the succession of UTBK at UPNVJ will always be given a good health condition". As closed by Fajar Nugroho, The Coordinator of The UTBK Centre at UPNVJ.

Fajar also suggested the UTBK-SBMPTN 2020 participants to always pay attention to the procedural rules given by the LTMPT central committee.
