HumasUPNVJ - Determined by UPN Veteran Jakarta (UPNVJ) to become a State University Public Service Agency (PTN-BLU) provides benefits for UPNVJ to be more flexible in financial management.

Changing the status of UPNVJ to become a Public Service Agency has an impact on changes in the pattern of financial planning, service and university governance. Among the three priority scales that will be the main priority after the change of Unesa to BLU is the pattern of financial planning. Dr. Prasetyo Hadi as Deputy Chancellor for General Affairs and Finance said that since being appointed as BLU, UPNVJ has already done a number of things, namely carrying out a decree on the acceleration of BLU Financial Management (PK) and management SOPs as well as everything related to financial management.

"Several other main things are financial management, preparation of remuneration, and SOPs related to existing procedures. UPNVJ has prepared a number of these steps to speed up the PK BLU, the message that we always remember from the Ministry of Education and Culture and the Ministry of Finance is that the initial mistake will be the starting point for how to manage the UPNVJ BLU in the future, "said Dr. Prasetyo in his report as the opening act of the Seminar on the Acceleration of the Implementation of PK BLU UPN Veterans Jakarta, on Monday (14/06/21).

Prior to the seminar, all of the UPNVJ academic community members prayed together online and offline as well as cutting tumpeng which was carried out by the Chancellor and Deputy Chancellors of UPNVJ.

In this seminar which was conducted online and offline, UPNVJ also invited several speakers who had experience with BLU's financial management patterns, including Prof.Dr. Ir. Akhmad Fauzi., MMT. Chancellor of UPN Veterans East Java (UPNVJATIM), Dr. Ir. Sukendah., M.Sc Deputy Chancellor for Academic Affairs at UPN Veterans East Java (UPNVJATIM), Dr. S. Martono., M.Si Deputy Chancellor for General Affairs and Finance, State University of Malang (UNM) and H.Kurnia Nugraha, ST, MT Deputy Chancellor for General Administration, Financial Planning, HR and Facilities at Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University (UNTIRTA).

Dr. S. In his discussion, Martono emphasized the potential and optimization of the PTN business with the aim of optimizing income for PTN. This is felt to be the most important thing for PTNs with BLU status where optimization of PTN's internal and external business will provide many benefits for playback or financial management.

In addition, other important matters were conveyed by Dr. Ir. Sukendah who emphasizes strategies to improve lecturer performance to determine remuneration.

No less important Prof. Akhmad Fauzi, the Chancellor of UPNVJATIM, who had previously held BLU status, explained about how to provide a change in the mindset of the academic community for a change in status, where welfare and justice are prioritized.

H.Kurnia Nugraha, ST, from UNTIRTA also added regarding the strategy for improving employee performance with the aim of being able to provide optimal service in accordance with the priorities of PTN BLU.

With the various debriefings provided, it is hoped that it will provide many descriptions for all elements in UPNVJ as an effort to accelerate the process of changing patterns of financial management and services in UPNVJ.
