Strengthening the Soul of Defending the Country, Puska UPNVJ Launches Two Books on Defending the Country

HumasUPNVJ - Defending the State is the attitude and behavior of citizens imbued with love for the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI) based on Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution in ensuring the survival of the nation and state. UPN "Vetaran" Jakarta, as one of the state defense-characterized campuses, of course, really maintains the values of defending the country from various aspects, so that these values do not fade. One implementation of this is the launch of two books on defending the country.

Located in the Auditorium DR. Wahidin Sudirohusodo, Thursday (22/2), the launch of the book entitled 'Defending the State in a Public Perspective' and 'Reasoning for State Defense: A Survey of Indonesian Society's Perceptions of State Defense in the Digital Age' was packaged in a book review event which was attended by resource persons, namely Professional Staff for Ideology and Social Culture at the National Defense Institute, Albertus Magnus Putut Prabantoro, Special Staff to the Chairman of the BPIP Steering Committee Romo Benny Susesty and academician, Ujang Komarudin.

Present as the Head of the UPNVJ National Defense Center, Dr. Ridwan stated, in his speech, that the purpose of launching this book was to build and strengthen the spirit of defending the country. "Therefore, with these books, we hope to be able to build and strengthen the spirit of defending the country for all young people and generally all Indonesian people through various constructive and participatory efforts,"

Another speaker from the Special Staff of the Chairman of the BPIP Steering Committee, Romo Benny Susesty, hopes that this book can contribute to safeguarding the sovereignty of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia. He stressed the need to specifically discuss digitalization for the integrity of the nation, aspects of the dangers of technology and hidden ideologies.

On the same occasion, another speaker, Father Benny Susesty hoped that this book would contribute to maintaining the sovereignty of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia. The two Bela Negara books published by Nusantara Publishing are the result of research by UPNVJ lecturers namely Anwar Ilmar, Asep Kamaluddin Nashir, Chairun Nisa Zempi, Danis TS Wahidin, Kusumajanti, Laode Muhamad Fathun, Munadhil Abdul Muqsith, Ridwan, Rizky Himawan and Azwar.
