UPNVJ Again Proposes Three PKKM Programs

HumasUPNVJ – Like last year, where UPN Veteran Jakarta (UPNVJ) received grants for the Independent Campus Competition Program (PKKM) for three study programs including Development Economics (1,460,931,954), Communication Studies (1,192,961,913), and Institutional Support System (ISS) ) (1,999,332,500) – Merdeka Learning Campus Merdeka (MBKM) with a total cost of IDR 4,653,226,367. For this year, UPNVJ will again submit grant proposals which are still in the planning stage. In line with this, the UPNVJ Institute for Research and Community Service held a full board for drafting PKKM proposals which is an independent competition program, with a group system. The group selection system is based on the number of active students and university accreditation and geography/region.

Anter Venus, Chancellor of UPNVJ explained that PKKM at the study program level aims to improve the quality, relevance and innovation of higher education to respond to and anticipate future developments in science and technology in accordance with the advantages of study programs and to enhance collaboration with the Business World Industry and top world class universities in the framework of transforming higher education to gain international recognition and increase the nation's competitiveness.

"PKKM ISS-MBKM is specifically aimed at strengthening MBKM governance and facilitating the implementation of independent campuses to support the transformation of higher education carried out in all study programs at UPNVJ," added Venus in her remarks at the start of the activity.

In order to take part in PKKM 2023, UPNVJ proposes 3 (three) study programs namely Marine Engineering (S1), Law (S1), and Information Systems (S1). In addition, this activity was held to provide common perceptions in the preparation of Terms of Reference and Proposals following the composition of the 2023 PKKM proposal preparation guidelines.

This activity lasted for three days by inviting speakers from Hasanuddin University, Prof. Herman Parung. The preparation of the PKKM proposal was accompanied by the Study Program Accreditation Preparation activities in order to become a superior study program in the Bachelor of International Relations and Bachelor of Industrial Engineering. In preparation for the accreditation of industrial engineering study programs in undergraduate programs at the UPNVJ faculty of engineering. LP3M carries out assistance from 5 to 7 January 2023 at the Aston Hotel Jakarta.

The Chancellor of UPNVJ stressed one of the sustainable development programs in order to get good results. This result is one of the valid proofs of the implementation of PPEPP (Determination, Implementation, Evaluation, Monitoring, and Improvement). Academic and Vocational Engineering Scope.
