Mahardika Criteria and Assessment

Candidates for the Karya Mahardika Award are determined based on an assessment of four criteria, namely GPA; certification or recognition; student competitions; and student organizations.

GPA refers to students' academic grades during their studies, while certification or recognition includes intellectual property rights; seminar speakers; publication of scientific articles in journals or newspapers; administrators of professional organizations including the positions of chairman, secretary or treasurer. This certification or recognition must come from an international institution or agency.

Student competition points cover academic and non-academic areas, both at regional, national and international levels. A prospective Mahardika recipient needs to win 1st, 2nd or 3rd place in this competition point.

"The best is not only from GPA, because it is not enough if it is only from that. Prospective recipients of Mahardika must have achievements, both at the national and international levels," said Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs and Cooperation Dr. dr. Ria Maria Theresa.

In addition, prospective Mahardika recipients must also be involved in various activities that are not only beneficial to themselves, but also to others.

"So all of this is not just for him, but also has a positive contribution to society," concluded Ria.
