HumasUPNVJ - Universitas Pembangunan Nasional "Veteran" Jakarta recently received an award as the Best BI Corner for the educational institution category from Bank Indonesia. This award was given as a form of appreciation for UPNVJ's contribution in developing and introducing economic and financial literacy to the community, especially to academics and students.

BI Corner is a program initiated by Bank Indonesia to increase public understanding, especially among students, about the digital economy and finance. This program also aims to increase awareness of the importance of economic stability and educate the public about policies issued by Bank Indonesia, such as monetary management, digital payments, and the importance of financial inclusion.

UPNVJ received this award for its efforts in utilizing the BI Corner on campus to support economic and financial education for students, as well as various activities involving collaboration with Bank Indonesia in order to provide a better understanding of the Indonesian financial system and economy. This award signifies UPNVJ's commitment to supporting Bank Indonesia's vision to improve financial literacy among the younger generation. This award was received directly on Friday, November 29, 2024.

Anter Venus, UPNVJ Chancellor said that the BI Corner in UPNVJ is able to enrich learning resources in the campus environment, "we are fortunate to have a BI corner that is spacious and very well managed. This corner is not only for increasing public understanding of BI but more than that to provide learning materials and literacy related to banking and economics. The presence of the BI corner enriches existing learning resources. We will continue to optimize the use of the corner in our FEB", he said.
