UPNVJ Chancellor Inaugurates PPKS Task Force for the 2024-2026 Period.

HumasUPNVJ - The Chancellor of the National Development University "Veteran" Jakarta ( UPNVJ ), Anter Venus today (11/10) inaugurated the Task Force for the Prevention and Handling of Sexual Violence (Satgas PPKS) at UPNVJ. This inauguration is a concrete step in an effort to create a safe campus environment free from all forms of sexual violence. This task force aims to provide protection to the entire academic community, both students and lecturers, as well as to effectively prevent and handle cases of sexual violence that may occur.

Anter Venus fully supports the existence of the PPKS Task Force on campus, "This task force plays a role in supporting educational and socialization efforts regarding the importance of awareness of sexual violence, as well as providing a path for victims to get help and protection. The formation of this Task Force is also a follow-up to broader policies, including the Regulation of the Minister of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia (Permendikbudristek) Number 30 of 2021 concerning the Prevention and Handling of Sexual Violence in Higher Education," he said.

There are 13 task force members appointed for the 2024-2026 period consisting of 4 lecturers, 3 education staff and 6 students.

This step is expected to create a healthier, safer academic environment and support a teaching and learning process that is free from all forms of violence.
